We Can Manage For You, But You Keep Control

One of the worst business practices we've witnessed over the years from business domain name registration services is the practice of registering a business client's domain name name in a name OTHER than the business itself!

For instance, many small business web design and web hosting providers will register client domain names when setting up initial websites. Rather than registering the business domain name under the business owner's name, the provider will actually list themselves as the registered party for the domain name on record.

We've never understood this line of reasoning, but we do not do it! When we register a business domain name, we register in the name of the owner, not with our company name.

This ensures that our clients maintain control of their websites in the future, should they choose to transfer their domain names to another provider for any reason.

This is certainly not to suggest that we won't do the dirty work for our clients to get accounts setup and to register their names for them (including automatic renewals where requested), but our clients are ultimately in control, as it should be!
